Denver-based K2Ventures LLC on Thursday broke ground on a 289-unit, $76 million project in Lakewood, near the Oak Station on the W Line.
The development, called Oak Street Station, will also include 2,500 square feet of ground-floor retail at 1420 Oak St. Charleston, South Carolina-based Greystar will manage the property.
Units will range in size from 511 square feet to 1,177 square feet.
“Occupying a full city block, the transit-oriented development will provide a new housing option adjacent to the light rail station,” said Kim Koen, principal at K2Ventures.
“Residents will enjoy a quick commute to downtown Denver and a convenient location near shopping, restaurants and recreation at North Table Mountain Park, Chimney Gulch Trail and Windy Saddle Park.”
